We are super excited about sharing these maternity images with you and to announce our new Maternity Prop, The Anatolia, Zuria Gown from Bambinibabe, Sonia was our very first Mummy to-be to wear it.
Just look how stunning she is in this gown, simply beautiful.
As this was their first of Two Maternity shoots and One New Born with us we had the choice to either shoot outdoors or in studio if the weather decided to playup, as Sonia wanted some in studio and some in amongst the trees with romantic summer lighting.
Tina and I scouted out some locations such as Ross Creek and Woodhaugh Gardens For the best Possible place for what Sonia wanted.
Like most days in Dunedin, the weather forecast said one day that Sunday was going to be a beautiful day and Saturday as going to be raining so luckily the shoot was booked for Sunday, then the next day the forecast changed and said it would be raining Sunday and fine on Saturday so we decided to move the shoot backwards to Saturday but then it changed again saying both days were going to be raining, we just couldn't win! at least we had the studio as back up, we decided to take it as it comes and assess the weather on Saturday, and as we expected Dunedin put on a cracker of a day.
We packed the cars and headed to Woodhaugh.
This photo shoot was gifted to Jill by an anonymous friend as Birthday a Present. we had been asked to keep the persons name a secret from Jill and they would reveal who had gifted the shoot to her on her birthday in June.
we photographed this family at the gardens and was so much fun, I don't think i have ever laughed so hard at the photo shoot before this one.
we absolutely enjoyed this shoot so much and we hope you enjoy your images Jill and have a happy birthday from Tina and I
this wedding was just one of a kind, a very special day, and the bride and Groom had so much love for each other.
On the thursday the rain was just coming down, it looked like it had set in and there wasn't much hope for a clear day for the photos up at the castle, so we hunted around the shops trying to find one more white umbrella just in case, but had no luck.
The wedding day was finally here and you wouldn't have believed that it was pouring with rain the day before, but the sun was out and there wasn't a rain cloud to be seen.
The dress was beautiful, the Bride looked stunning and the location was just amazing .
Thank you guys so much for choosing us to capture your big day it was an amazing day and we hope you guys have a wonderful life together! :)
Not so long ago we had the pleasure of witnessing Kelly get down on one knee and propose to Michelle at her 21st Birthday Party.
We spent the morning wandering around the dunedin botanical gardens and then made our way down to St Clair Beach for their engagement shoot!
They have so much LOVE for each other, you can just see it in these images.
after the geardens we headed to the beach down by the St Clair Poles.
we thought it would be fun to dress Michelle and Kelly up and have a bit of fun!
Tina Brought along a pirate outfit that we have from our prop box for children to dress up in, for our studio shoots as one of Michelle' family ancestors was a pirate! originally from the Spanish court and who is now celebrated in Florida. his treasure is lost deep in the everglades, so we thought this image was very fitting and only her family would really understand the meaning of it :)
after that little bit of fun we got back in to the serious images
