Sean and Sam flew from Melbourne Australia to be married in Sam's Home town Dunedin New Zealand in her Aunty and Uncle's Back Yard in Woodhaugh.
We started off at the Palms Motel where Sam was getting ready and took a few shots of her getting into her dress
Tina and i left dunedin early on Valentines day to head down to Invercargill for Rebekah and Jacks Valentine Wedding. We arrived at 10am and checked in to our motel then headed round to Queens Park to check out the location for the ceremony and bridle party shots.
After lunch we headed round to where Rebekah was getting ready.
Jess and Shane's Wedding took place at the Tautuku Fishing Club on a very hot windy Saturday afternoon, even with a few thing that had to be changed because of the wind it still turned out to be a beautiful wedding & what a great wedding it was to start off our first wedding of 2015
Rachael and James came all the way over from Aussy for their wedding here in Dunedin.
Their theme was 1920's inspired and were married in St Barnabas Church out in Warrington, they wanted to have their photos taken in and around the Dunedin University Grounds, and out on the Opeki walkway in Waitati, before heading to their ceremony at St Barnabas Church.
James Has Requested that images with his face are not to be used on Facebook or our web site so there is only a few images of Rachael and James together.
Here is James waiting for Rachael to get dressed.
This Wedding/Baptism was an Honour to be apart of.
The S Family had traveled a long distant between countries, to be Married and at the same time have their 1yr old Baptised in Dunedin's St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, in front of a small intimate number of family and friends.
this wedding was just one of a kind, a very special day, and the bride and Groom had so much love for each other.
On the thursday the rain was just coming down, it looked like it had set in and there wasn't much hope for a clear day for the photos up at the castle, so we hunted around the shops trying to find one more white umbrella just in case, but had no luck.
The wedding day was finally here and you wouldn't have believed that it was pouring with rain the day before, but the sun was out and there wasn't a rain cloud to be seen.
The dress was beautiful, the Bride looked stunning and the location was just amazing .
Thank you guys so much for choosing us to capture your big day it was an amazing day and we hope you guys have a wonderful life together! :)
When your a Photographer its hard when you have to find someone else to capture your Big Day! in the way you want it to be captured, in the same sort of style you would capture it your self!. I spent the last 2 1/2 years searching for that one Dunedin Photographer who i could know and TRUST to capture my special day that i my self had envisioned!, i spent 2 years going through blogs, websites, and Facebook and enquiring on prices looking for that perfect Dunedin Wedding photographer but just couldn't find one i really liked or that was in my price range, so i decided to visit my old polytech tutor and as we were chatting i mentioned how hard it was trying to find a photographer and that i wished he still did weddings and with that we had finally found our photographer!
As you could only imagine it was very hard to not pick up my camera and start shooting my own wedding and just sit back and relax while my photographer was taking my photos!!! but i couldn't hold back that itch and took some images of my own with the help of mum (Tina), my Makeup Artist Kristy Wood and my 3 beautiful Bridesmaids and of course our dear photographer :)
i now understand how our brides feel on and leading up to their wedding days
The EXCITEMENT, Stress and worry and a little bit of BrideZilla,
Will the weather be perfect? will the day go with out a hiccup? can i hold back the tears? and will our guest enjoy themselves? all things i know you other brides will be going through and the fact is nothing ever goes to plan
we had some hiccups along the way a bridesmaid dress went missing in the post for 7days when it was meant to be on an overnight courier, then when it finally got here it had to be re fixed as it was all out of shape and the ruching had come out because of the way an alterations company had taken it up as it was a bit long, then finally on the friday b4 the wedding we were missing a pair of groommens shoes, i was about to pall my here out
So here is how i spent my wedding day!!!!!!!
The Date of our wedding day was a very special date it was the birth date of my late father Ronnie Watt who passed away when i was only 10 on March 13th 1998 of a Heart attack in Auckland's Greenlane Hospital.
Kosta waiting for the girls to get ready so he can put is cool suite on
Wee Meyah getting her Hair done and wearing what she called her zizie dress
Tim's Mum & Dad came to see how we were getting on and to let us know that the boys had just left of the ceremony
Tina, the Girls and i + the boys and Tim's Family Helped set the reception up the night before the wedding and did a fantastic job at it! it turned an old boring rugby club in to a dream wedding reception
I had such a lovely day and can't wait to get the rest of my photos and Videos :)

Back in November 2012 My Husband and I were in invited to our Friends Jen and Andrews Wedding at Chingford Park.
I took my camera along as i was given promission to take some picks by Jen and Andrew and their Photographer
so heres what i took. the inside images are a bit noisy but that is to be expected as we were right at the back of the stables and there was very minimal light and i couldn't use my flash
after the ceremony we made our way to a felid on the other side of the park to take the formal images of the group and families of the Bride and Groom
You looked stunning Jen, thank you for inviting us to your wedding and for allowing me to photography it for my portfolio along side your official photographer in am really honoured and hope you in joy your photos
Back in 2012 we Photographed Jacob and Sara's Wedding at Iona Church in Port Chalmers Dunedin, it was cold windy with four seasons in one day, a typical dunedin day, but is was a beautiful Wedding nun the less.
This was only our 2nd wedding to photograph at!
Can't believe how far we have come in 2 and 1/2 years since we started this business.
after the ceremony was over we headed to Lady Thorn Dell and photographed amongst the Rhododendrons then proceeded to back beach and the Tunnel
on our way back round to the port town hall, we stopped off at the train tunnel and set the bridal party up in side and made it look like they were running from a train
after that the were all photoed out so we headed to the port town hall for the reception
Jake and Sara it was such an Honer to be a part of your Big day!
so far one year down and a life time to go
